Objective
Having worked in a relatively small company I have acquired a wide
variety of IT skills. I am now keen to further develop and expand my knowledge, with a view to using these
skills productively within a larger company.

- Although having worked for only one company, I have gained over 14 years experience in
the IT industry.
- Started as a trainee Operator in a mainframe only site.
- Promoted to Operations Supervisor within a year.
- Having a proven ability to make company decisions, promoted to Production Manager within
the following year heading a team of twelve staff.
- I was then promoted to PC Support Manager and played a key role in introducing the
company to new technologies and the benefits of running a PC based network and as a result
gaining new client opportunities.

demographics, producing data selections and statistical reports mainly servicing the
publishing industry.
PC Support Manager 1992 to present
- Investigating uses & feasibility of new technology in the office environment.
- Hardware & software evaluation, recommendation & purchase.
- Ensuring all desktop computers & peripherals are set up and functioning with

Foxpro 2, Microsoft Office 4.3 - 2000, Access 97/2000, a little SQL with Visual Foxpro 6 (a screenshot example is available), Quick Address Pro & Batch,
PC- Selcopy which is a multi-file sequential data retrieval/manipulation language,
Prescribe II which is Kyocera's printer language, various image scanning/manipulation
packages, forms design, OCR, CA-Easytrieve/PC, a report writer. Currently learning Visual
Basic 6.0. I also have some web design experience.
